At a July 23 Commissioners Court meeting, Fort Bend County officials announced debris pick-up across the county. The first pass for debris pickup is expected to be completed within 30 days. Please be patient. After Hurricane Harvey, Fort Bend County had many fewer homes, and it still took over three months to pick up all the debris.
Based on this information, remaining fence debris (and any remaining tree debris) will be picked up by Fort Bend County’s Road & Bridge Department. As of August 2, GFL has picked up most of the tree debris throughout Big Oaks MUD. As needed, you may contact GFL:
For questions regarding your trash or recycling pickup, please contact GFL directly.
Residents who have remaining debris are asked to contact the Fort Bend Storm Debris Call Center at 833-307-9937 between Monday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
