NFBWA: Fee Rate Increase

The North Fort Bend Water Authority (“NFBWA”) is a governmental entity charged with reducing the use of groundwater within its boundaries, which includes Big Oaks MUD. NFBWA sets a fee paid by all users of Big Oaks MUD, which increased to $4.00 per 1,000 gallons of water used effective January 1, 2019. Big Oaks MUD has no control over this fee. Independence Day Trash Collection

In observance of Independence Day, WCA will not collect trash or recyling items on Wednesday, July 4th. Trash collection will resume on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Recycling collection will resume on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

WCA is now offering, for the month of February, flat rate roll-off containers for $500.00. This is to assist in the on-going Hurricane Harvey clean-up effort in communities throughout the greater Houston area. Please call into our customer care department to book your 30 yard container today. This offer is valid through February 28, 2018.

Garbage Collection Update

To all WCA Houston Area Customers,

WCA will be back to normal operations on Thursday, January 18, 2018.

Normal Thursday residential routes will be serviced as normal. The residential routes from Tuesday and Wednesday that were missed due to the weather will be serviced on their next scheduled service day.

Normal Thursday commercial and roll off routes will be serviced with Tuesday and Wednesday single stop customers mixed into the routes.

No Garbage Collection Today

The Houston area is under a Winter Weather Advisory. At this time, WCA has decided it is unsafe to run our routes Wednesday, January 17, 2018. All offices will be closed and no trucks will be running.

If your service is missed due to the weather, service will resume on the next scheduled service day.
